Visitor Guide

Where to Go in DFW Before & After World Cup Matches

Practical zone-by-zone guide for World Cup visitors: stadium-area, downtown Dallas, downtown Fort Worth, and late-night options.

TL;DR

DFW is huge. Pick a base — Arlington (closest to AT&T Stadium), Dallas (nightlife + Fan Festival), or Fort Worth (cheaper, Stockyards) — and plan day trips from there. Most visitors split a week between Arlington for match days and Dallas for non-match days. Pre-book restaurants and rideshares on match days; expect heavy traffic.

Arlington Entertainment District

AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Field, Texas Live!, Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, Esports Stadium — everything in a one-mile radius. Stay here if you're going to multiple matches.

Downtown Dallas

Klyde Warren Park, the Dallas Arts District, Reunion Tower, Bishop Arts and Deep Ellum nightlife, plus the Fan Festival at Fair Park. Best for a day off between matches.

Fort Worth

The Stockyards (historic, daily cattle drives), Sundance Square, the Cultural District (Kimbell, Modern, Amon Carter). Worth a half-day trip — under 30 min from Arlington.

Late-night DFW

Texas Live! near the stadium and Greenville Avenue in Dallas stay open latest. Most Texas bars stop service at 2 AM. Plan rides home in advance — rideshare surge spikes after late kickoffs.
